Read about the 2008 Buffalo Bill Century "Tour of the Seven Cities"
The Leavenworth Bicycle Club invites bicycle riders of all ages and abilities to participate in the 27th Annual Buffalo Bill Century "Tour of Seven Cities"-- dubbed such in recognition of the fact that the ride route passes through the downtowns of seven unique and historic cities: Leavenworth, Lansing, Basehor, De Soto, Eudora, Tonganoxie, and Easton.
|
Four different routes are available ranging from a
34-mile to the full 104-mile century route. After the mass start in downtown Leavenworth, the riders are soon navigating scenic rolling country roads that span the length and breadth of beautiful Leavenworth County and, for the longer loops, parts of both Johnson and Douglas Counties.
