The Leavenworth Bicycle Club's is focused on growing to meet the desires of all the members.  Members of the club participate in triathlons, cross state bicycle tours, bed and breakfast bicycle weekends, and supported or self contained bicycle camping tours.

Most of the year we feature rides every weekend.  There are also week nights rides, picnics, cycle camping trips, trips to the KATY Trail in Missouri, the annual Buffalo Bill Century, and trips to other communities for events such as Octoginta in Lawrence, the “Rope Em’ Ride” in Hays, Biking Across Kansas, the Hotter ‘n Hell 100 in Wichita Falls, TX, and MS 150 Rides.

Winter activities include road rides, trail riding on mountain bikes, hiking, camping trips, pot luck suppers, progressive dinners, and an annual Christmas party.  Members are encouraged to provide suggestions so we can expand current events to encompass everyone’s desires and interests.

The club’s monthly meetings feature programs on bike repair, equipment demonstrations, speakers from the local area bicycle shops, fitness and training orientations, and the clubs annual Business Meeting and Pot Luck Dinner in November.  

We have designed a club logo and a distinctive club jersey which members can buy at cost.  Our list of sponsors is also growing: most local area bicycle shops and sporting goods stores offer members five to ten percent discounts on equipment, clothing, and accessories.

Individual and family memberships are $15.00 per year.
*If a rider is under 18, they must join under a family membership.

The Leavenworth Bicycle Club is a club affiliate of the League of American Bicyclists and Adventure Cycling Association.
